We had a regular woman that came to jail at least once a week for detox. She was hell on wheels. I mean kick, bite, hit, spit and cuss and we all hated to book her in. She also had a way of putting things places they should not be where you could not take them from her.
She also we found out had a big attraction for blonde haired, blue eyes police officers. One of our new younger officers brought her in one night for Driving Under the Influence and you could tell she had put up a fight.
We took the stuff out of her pockets and patted her down and now it starts as we try to un-cuff her and put her in the detox cell. As soon as she feels a hand free the fight is on and all of a sudden she gets a look at the cops and says “oh your cute” and she jumps on him trying to kiss him. He yells for help and we say “we are only allowed to use force up to and including what force is necessary to keep the subject from fighting and that is far from fighting”…..laughing as we pull her off from him.
She is fighting again but not us just trying to get loose to get a hold of that blue eyed guy. We finally got smart and told him to go stand inside the drunk tank. He does and we let her loose. She takes off running for him and he steps aside and closes the door. We got her.
This became a standard way of getting her into her cell. She just loved that blonde haired boy and if she got loose or he was not fast enough she was wrapped right around him. We had a lot less bruises to show for booking her into jail after that but we hated the nights he wasn’t around.
