Starting out

I started out in 911 in Alaska.  That will open up anyone's eyes. I had lived in the town for a year and thought it was a small quiet fishing town. Little did I know that the people who are out in the daylight hours are a whole different town then what comes out at night.  The bars stay open until 5 am and open back up at 7 am. Gives them time to go get something to eat before they start in again.

I had been around the town for a year but never noticed that every block had bar on each side before.  Being in 911 up in my town was an exciting busy, busy time for police officers. I know on some holidays they never got to patrol in a car as they ran from bar fight to bar fight. Then the sun would come up and it would be a boring day at work.  How one town could change so much from day to night amazed me.

I would not have believed some of the calls we got if I had not been there. I have told some of the calls to others and they think I am telling stories but believe me it is an interesting place to work. We also had a really big area including a lot of water and islands.

So lets get started with a call
