Today as I read in the paper about a medical helicopter going down it always saddens me when someone is trying to help someone and they get killed doing it. Sometimes life doesn’t make sense to me.
Two of the best paramedics I ever knew who saved more lives then most do. We live in a rural community and there is none of this golden hour to the hospital you were lucky to get there in two many times. These two were amazing and even the doctors would look for their opinion and most times they were correct. I would rather them take care of me in an emergency then the doctor.
When my cousin had a car wreck and was brought into the ER I met the ambulance there. We were told that they did not think she was going to make it. So I asked the paramedic and he said, she has a crushed foot, broken leg but she is going to be fine. He then proceeded to tell me what was wrong with her and what the doctors were wrong on. She went to x-ray and guess who was right? The paramedic with no x-ray had got every single thing right.
Both of these paramedics died from cancer. They saved so many and no one could save them. It broke my heart, two of the greatest now spend their time with Jesus.
